I am passionate about ensuring technology governance and innovation are multistakholder and truly global. As society orients its self around Artificial Intelligence (AI), I am working to ensure countries, companies (SMB), and communities that are not traditionally represented are a meaningful part of the work.

Through my company, CAS Strategies, I am leading and supporting a number of strategic efforts to close gaps and bring more voices to the table.

The Global Action Forum was the flagship event of the Global AI Innovation & Governance Initiative, one such effort.

I am leading a new portfolio on “Building a Blueprint: Intergenerational Approaches to Complex Security Threats” at GirlSecurity.

The groundbreaking initiative will address critical issues at the intersection of national security, technology, and social impact, with a focus on key trends including quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and global health and biosecurity. As with all Girl Security programming, this portfolio will join youth alongside leaders to examine key challenges and responses.

#ShareTHEMICINCYBer

#ShareTheMicInCyber is a movement started by Camille Stewart and Lauren Zabierek with the aim of addressing issues stemming from systemic racism in cybersecurity. The original social media campaign highlighted the experiences of Black practitioners in this field, catalyzes a critical conversation on race in the industry, and shines a light on Black practitioners’ accomplishments to showcase them as experts in their fields all while creating professional opportunities and bringing the cyber community together.

Now the #ShareTheMicInCyber Fellowship hosted at New America and the #ShareTheMicInCyber Scholarship facilitated by WISP are the hallmarks of the effort.
